Susan Boyle: The Phenomenon that is!
April 19, 2009 Susan Boyle has made global news with her appearance on ITV1‘s Britain’s Got Talent. The singer, who lives in Scotland with her cat Pebbles, wowed Simon Cowell with her rendition of I Dreamed a Dream from the musical Les Miserables. Since then, Susan has become an internet phenomenon and millions of people around the globe have watched her audition on YouTube. The unemployed singer, who dreams of becoming a professional singer, has had numerous job offers including the chance to star in a Hollywood movie, an offer to star in a comedy series opposite Only Fools and Horses star ‘Trigger’ and, the offer which Susan is more likely to accept, the chance to record a duet with her favourite singer Elaine Page.
When the audition phase of Britain’s Got Talent comes to an end, Susan will battle it out with the other hopefuls to fulfill the dream of performing for the Royal family at the Royal Variety Performance.
Britain’s Got Talent continues on ITV1 on Saturday at 8.30pm.
